Who is Rowena Mason from The Guardian Newspaper?

Rowena Mason is a British journalist and political correspondent for the Guardian Newspaper. She previously worked at the Daily Telegraph and Politico, and has been with The Guardian since 2018.

Mason covers the UK government, Brexit, devolved politics in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as UK-EU relations. She has interviewed key figures including former Prime Minister Theresa May and current Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Mason also writes opinion pieces for The Guardian on wider political issues such as Brexit and voter disengagement with politics. In 2018 she was awarded the Political Journalism Prize at the London Press Club awards for her coverage of the 2017 general election.
